Fun on the Boardwalk

This past Saturday I closed out summer with a fun-filled afternoon of mini sessions. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day on the Sandwich Boardwalk. A cloudless sky bathed the grassy marsh, exposed by the low tide, in a beautiful sun-kissed glow. It was a bit windy, but that's Cape Cod for you! The boardwalk is a popular spot for locals and visitors, as it offers spectacular views of the marsh and a scenic stroll over the dunes to the town beach. A must visit! #sandwichboardwalk #capecod

There was so much activity during the shoot- dogs accompanying their owners, kids searching for shells and fish in the river below, kayakers, and friendly locals enjoying a sunset stroll. It kept us all in good spirits, and on our toes trying to create intimate and creative shots. Feeling inspired yet? The slats that make up the boardwalk can be purchased, granting those lucky some a chance to leave their mark and share a glimpse into their story. Names and dedications are engraved in the slats, adding a unique touch to this landmark. As I wander up and down, I can't help but feel connected to the people who represent these boards and others who amble across them. Blessed beyond words for the opportunity to help create beautiful memories for the families of these sessions. I didn't have to wonder about their stories like I do with the families etched into the wood of the boardwalk; those were given freely to me as I captured the beauty of them through the lens. #lifestylephotographer
