July. A month that is so looked forward to after many months of winter cold here on Cape Cod. And July did not disappoint at Tony Andrews Farm in Falmouth, MA. Summer was in full bloom, offering a stunning variety of yellow and orange sunflowers. The owner of this local Cape Cod farm allowed me the privilege of hosting mini sessions among this beautiful display. How awesome is that?! #capecod #shoplocal #minisessions #sunflowers #tonyandrewsfarm #falmouthma
So many sweet moments were captured, and I loved that every family brought something different to the shoot. As a lifestyle photographer, I focus on the unique style and personality of each family. I look for the details that help tell their story.
When I host mini sessions, I am always trying to foster a fun experience for my families. This is a chance for them to come together to create lasting memories, and I want them to be as authentic as possible. I encourage kids to play, for parents to show affection towards each other, for families to INTERACT. Tony Andrews Farm really helped me to provide that environment during this shoot. We cut our own sunflowers, we explored the open grounds, and we made friends with the local bees (they keep their own bees and make their own honey)!
So, get outside and make some memories! And don't forget to #stopandsmelltheflowers.

I created this photo shoot to kick-off my #capturesummer campaign. Summer in New England is short, and thus should be savored! I'm so grateful to all of the families that joined me. Despite the incedible heat, it was a beautiful day spent with beautiful people.
